I believe that one of the major reasons why people tend to change their careers, even after spending many years in one field, is that they aren't very satisfied with the salary. They believe that if they change their field, they can be paid more and achieve higher success in their lives, affording a better life. On the other hand, some individuals may change their mindset. When they were interested in a specific field in the past, they can realize over time that they have lost that interest and need to try something new which can lead to success. So they hope to gain experiences in new areas.
