Many people argue that governments should stop dangerous sports, while others claim that people should have freedom to take part in any sport or activity.
This essay will discuss both perspectives, before concluding with my own opinion.
On the one hand, government should not interfere with the interests of the people. Because, every individual has the right to choose their hobbies. When government interferes with the interests of people, it can cause disagreement between the government and the public. For example, if government bans sports like base jumping and wingsuit flying, it will be difficult for people who are really passionate about these sports and want to get extreme. Therefore, government must respect people’s interests.
On the other hand, in this way the government is saving people from dangerous situations. For example, every year many climbers lose their lives while climbing mountains. In fact, they are also wanted to get extreme. However, accidents are impossible to predict. Therefore, government should stop dangerous sports and avoid serious consequences.
In my point of view, government should ban dangerous sports. They are saving million life with this decision. If the state stop risky sports, people will lose interest in them. Human life is more important than personal interests.
