The layouts illustrate how frozen meat pies are made with several detailed steps.
In general, the pies consist of three main layers, which are potato, vegetable, meat layer, assembling in top to bottom layers. Furthermore, there are two main parts in the process, including ingredients preparation and packaging distribution.
In the first step, beef is delivered to the factory by truck in less than 2 weeks, then it is defrosted and put on a conveyor belt. Before it is cooked in the oven, beef is seasoned with salt and pepper. After that, it is subjected to fat removal and cut into smaller pieces. The quality inspection is needed to ensure that it meets the demand of safety standards, then the beef is put into a microwaveable plastic container. On the conveyor belt, prepared peas and carrots are added into containers, before gravy sauce is poured in the product.
Meanwhile, potatoes have the same means of transportation but they have different times which are up to two months. The potato process consists of washing, peeling and slicing, with waste disposal in the peeling step. Moreover, before potatoes are stored, they are boiled and chilled. In the next step, store potatoes are added on the top of a plastic container and create the final product which gets wrapped after that. Afterall, the product is frosted and provided to the physical store.
