As a result, people are often blinded by these pleasures, despite knowing the harmful effects it could bring. The second reason is the lack of practical knowledge. Although scientist have tried their best to warn people about the severe consequences these activities bring. People don’t actually know or feel the detrimental effects it have on them in the short term, and they often overlook it. Subsequently, this tendency will result in people carry many dangerous diseases.
Fortunately, there are several measures that could be taken to tackle these issues. The first solution would be education. In schools, teacher can inform students about the problems associated with these issues and the value of following a healthy life style. Therefore, students will not only know more about the downside behind those activities but also learn to follow a healthier life style. The second solution is running campaigns. Many scientific edvidences in proving the effect of harmful activities are often overlooked due to its short range in popularity. However, the government could capitalize their influential on their civilians to run campaigns to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Thereby, more people will be informed to get rid of their detrimental routines.
In conclusion, it is clear that there are many underlying reasons in the avoidance of those warnings, and steps need to be taken to tackle these issues by either education or running campaigns.
