The provided pie charts indicate the first media used by Germans and Nigerians so as to get the news in a usual week.
A glance at the graph reveals that Germans read Newspapers for the first time to access news, compared to Nigerians which watched TV for the same purpose. However, Nigerians did not use Internet and Friends and Family as much as Germans.
Just under a half of individuals in Germany prefered to follow news with Newspapers at 45%, compared to Nigerians which watched television for gaining news at 63%. (which was the highest proportion of accessing to news for the first time over the period). Moreover, the percentage of people who follow news with Radio ( for the first place) was one tenth at 10% in Germany, which was roughly doubled in Nigeria at 22%.
In contrast, only a tiny fraction of individuals tend to get news from othet sources at 4% in Germany, just ahead of Nigerians who liked to hear news from Friedns and Family at 1%. (which was the lowest share of going for the news in the first place over the period). In addtion, the percentage of people who intent on following news from Internet in Germany was considerably more than Nigerians with 11% and 1%, respectively.
