Overall, the college is expected to undergo significant layout changes. Removing the car park and trees will make way for a cafe, a library, a new entrance, a corridor, laboratories, a computer room, and additional teaching areas. However, buildings such as the administrative offices, staff room, and sports fields will remain largely unchanged.
Looking first at the present college’s design, the entrance is in the north, while the staff room is on the opposite side. A corridor runs between the entrance and the staff room, with teaching areas on both sides. In the north-west corner, administrative offices and a car park are located near the sports fields to the west, while the eastern side is covered with trees.
Turning to the planned layout of the college, the most noticeable change will be the addition of a new entrance, corridor, laboratories, and a computer room to the east side of the area at the expense of the present woodland. Another important change will be the increased number of teaching areas, with the staff room being extended. The existing car park is expected to be replaced by a cafe and a library, while the sports fields will be reduced to make room for a new sports hall next to them. However, administrative offices will remain untouched.
