At first glance, it is obvious that births and deaths of Swiss people were over 1 million in 1970 and 1980. While in 2010, the birth rate was threefold higher than the death rate, at 3 million and 1 million, respectively. In addition to this, the birth rates of the years 2010 and 2020 were in the ratio of one to three compared to the proportions of the year 1970, 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 respectively. While there was no dramatic dropping trend between the number of deaths in 2020 and in 2010, with nearly a 0.3 difference.
Overall, although the birth and death records fluctuauted over years, the highest birth ratio was 3 million while the lowest was 1 to 3 respectively for 1 million in 1970 and 3 million in 2020. While among the death rates the highest one 1990 was double the lowest record in 2020 respectively over 0.7 to 1.5.
