Band 7+: Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In the contemporary era, there is a pervasive belief that if hobbies were complicated, they would be more captivating. I firmly contend that while there is a wide array of hobbies, whether simple or tough to play, some factors can be considered to have fun. The following article will provide viable reasons which support the viewpoint.

First and foremost, there are a wide range of activities to be engrossed in. Moreover, all of them not only enhance character traits, but also help to inculcate an appreciation for work. In essence, they serve as a real escapism from the daily grind as well as its benefits to discover our latent talents which may never have been known. For instance, some outdoor pursuits make us aware of our bodies and we can also challenge ourselves with mental hobbies. Consequently, leisure time plays an essential role in enriching our lives.

However, enjoying something is reliance on an individual’s tastes and choices. For instance, someone only wants to jog, listening to music in nature instead of riding a horse in a luxurious place. Additionally, we all have our likes and dislikes, so that some hobbies give us more pleasure and leave our hearts with a sense of fulfillment. Therefore, from my perspective, all kinds of hobbies are of great importance, giving us an insight of all dimensions around us.

In conclusion, regardless of the complexity of hobbies, they always- make our time worthwhile. It is evident that they have the potential to bring joyous and self-challenge.
