Nowadays, with the development of technology at the same time develops crime as criminals also start using more innovative technologies and new techniques. Before, when there was not any innovations , crime was poor as well. But when technology started developing, criminals started to come up with new ideas how to committe crime and now there are so many ways how to do it. For instance, they started to communicate with old people and convince them to give their credit cards password for some service which is fictionary. So, criminals will easily get money from that credid card. Thus, this is because of development of technologies that can provide with opportunity to keep money in electronic form. So, innovations only boosts crime.
However, in my view, innovations has only positive impact on people’s lives. Compare to the past, today people’s lives are more safe than used to be. For instance, before there was not any cameras that could indicate who committed crime or technologies to identify the criminal by its imprints. So, those people who stole something or damaged someone’s property weve free from punishments as no one could identify them before. Moreover, technology development helps to follow criminals and find their locations easily and catch them at any time. So, with the improvement of technology people become more afraid of doing something illegal as they will easily be found and catched.
To deduce, from one point technologies can help to enlarge ways of crime and help those who committe it as well ell. However, in my opinion, technologies only reduce crime as they put on people pressure by their wide range of options including identifying criminals and their locations.
