In today’s developing world social media sites have their own place in most individuals’ life. However, it is considered that the social media sites affect negatively to youngsters, especially on their communication skills with society they belong to. While opposing opinions are given by some who confirm regarding to social media’s sufficient impact on collaboration.

First of all, the youngsters who spend their time mostly with scrolling on social media can tend to be isolated from the people around them in the real life. Because it is easier go express our feelings on social media rather than when we are chatting with people with facing them. So, getting accustomed to chatting only on social media sites might cause to restrict juniors’ communication ability among public. The second cons side of messengers such as Twitter and Facebook to teenagers is that there is no filter which can provide only safe information to individuals. Specifically, parents often worry about their child’s safety, that they find it difficult to what their children see online. In addition, they do not always know who their children are chatting to. In these case, communicating with strangers that we don’t know about their personality or objective might bring about negative changes in the behaviour of a developing child.

On the one hand, there are other group of people who consider social media sites as an efficient way of getting together. According to them, social media messengers have revolutionised communication, so it is quite easy to exchange ideas by keep in touch with people behind the screen. Additionally, young people may become the owners of open-minded and outgoing characteristics, as they launch communication with the people they have no relationship, but share the same interests.

To sum up, everything has their pros and cons sides. Their impact on teenagers personality vary based on each individual’s characteristics.
