Usage of Cars

Usage of personal vehicles have been increasing at an enormous rate and still keeps growing. Even though public transportation is advancing and being more and more common in big cities around the world, people are not willing to sacrifice their privacy and comfort they have in their cars.

Since Karl Friedrich Benz invented the first petrol car in 20th century, people have been using these vehicles on a daily basis. But there is a difference between our time and the times when cars were still quite new to society. Back then, having a single car was a sign of wealth but now almost everyone has one waiting in their garage. Cars are helping us to get to places faster, they gave us a whole range of different organizations from F1 to NASCAR and with the help of latest technologies they also gave us all the comfort and fun we could ask for. If you are able to pay more for a car, you can have your seats heated in winters, you can have them massage you while you drive to work, you can listen to music and feel like you are in a huge concert thanks to extraordinary sound systems in expensive cars. But if you have a regular, ordinary car; you can still enjoy the privacy of being in your own car and sitting on your comfortable seat.

When it comes to public transportations, trams and buses are always crowded and you always have to wait for the train to arrive. Sometimes you will miss the time, you will be late to places, you will be standing and all kinds of other problems. But there is good to public transportation too. Traffic is a big problem the whole world is facing nowadays. The huge number of personal cars in use have caused to problem of turning a 10-minute drive into an hour of drive. And it is a known fact that exhaust gases are harmful for Earth’s atmosphere and to our health. So instead of 20 people using 20 different cars, 20 people using a single bus to go around the town is definitely the better, healthier, option.

So, in conclusion, every country should encourage public transportation to their citizens, everyone should take their part in keeping our world healthy and choose public transportation over personal cars as much as they can because in my opinion, Earth’s health being in danger means that our health and existence is also in danger.

Thanks to the rapid development of society, the number of vehicles has surged to 29 million, enhancing convenience for outings. However, this rise in private car ownership poses significant threats to both the environment and social development. Therefore, I strongly advocate for a reduction in vehicle use. To begin with, the overwhelming number of cars […]
