The line chart illustrates how many tonnes of waste were produced by three companies from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, there were decreases in the amount of trash discarded by company A and company B, while the opposite was true for company C. Additionally, waste disposed amounts by company A was the highest for most of the period.
In 2000, the amount of waste disposal by company A was 12 tonnes, which was just over 3 tonnes higher than that of company B and almost tripled company C’s figure.
Until 2015, company A considerably decreased its waste amount produced to just below 9 tonnes in 2015. Moreover, the figures for company B peaked just above this level in 2005, followed by a drop of just more than threefold in the final year, while those of company C saw a dramatic rise, but to a lesser extent, ending slightly higher than company B’s highest point in 2005.
