In the fast-paced world where beliefs change constantly, it is common for children in this generation to have different opinions from their parents. In the following paragraph, how the difference in opinions can cause some troubles will be outlined.
It is certain that people have different thought growing up not in the same period. One example of this is the mindset about career path. Rather than working in the same company for long period like older generations do, they likely to seek for more experiences in a new field or a new company. Additionally, Gen Z adults believe that their health is more important than the successful in the job. For example, working under too much pressure or having too much workload, they might quit the job as they prioritize their mental health. Apart from that, views about marriage and family also differ. Traditionally, many couples will move in together after marriage. In this generation, it is very common to stay together before that, claiming that they will get to know more about their partner this way. Additionally, birth rates in these days see a declining trend, as young people do not want to have child. Meanwhile, older generations believe that they should have kids, so when they get older, their children will take care of them.
From my point of view, I believe that these difference in thoughts can lead in arguments. In a workplace where people from different background have to work together, it is deniable that there will be a conflict, particularly when there is a generation gap between them. For example, older employees might see the younger as lazy while the latter might see the former as too strict. Moreover, the different mindset about marriage also consequently results in argument between parents and youngsters because they believe their kids do not do things accordingly to the tradition.
In conclusion, people growing up at different point in time have different mindsets on things. This can also lead to conflicts between both parties.
