The illustration shows the process of making recycled paper from used paper.
Overall, the production involves four main stages: making pulp, filtering, cleaning and producing paper rolls. The process efficiently transforms used paper into recycled products, emphasizing sustainability through multiple filtration and cleaning steps.
In the first stage, used paper is transported on a conveyor belt into a machine where it is mixed with water and chemical to create unfiltered pulp. Next in the filtering stage, the pulp is passed through a sieve to remove large impurities, producing filtered pulp. This step ensures the pulp is suitable for further cleaning.
The third stage involves cleaning the pulp. It is mixed water and soap, and air is introduced for deleting any ink and residues, resulting in cleaned pulp. Finally, the cleaned up is used to make paper. It is fed into heated rollers, where excess water is removed. Then the pulp is pressed into sheets of recycled paper, which are then rolled and prepared for use.
