A global education time span extension may be observed in many countries nowadays. A lot of people recognize the need of education, and after completing basic school program, progress to more advanced studies. I personally think there is no negative development in this, and in this essay I will provide with clear statements to my point.
First of all, universities cover wide range of general knowledge, but additional courses may aim to more sophisticated area of knowledge, providing with more choice for students. Therefore, graduates from school who already know their future field of study may attend courses they need to increase their knowledge and experience. For instance, there are jobs that require more knowledge, and real world practice than normal, like doctors or architects. They do not have to be dependent on what they have studied in college or even university, as they have more responsibility than normal.
Secondly, there are people who always seek more knowledge, than normal, and courses are best options for them. For instance, in my country there is a tremendous increase over past years in students willing to learn English as their second or third language, or learn basics of IT. In this case, courses will provide knowledge, practice and even certification in the end of their studies, which makes it a really good option, comparing to 4 year study programs at universities.
To conclude, I believe that increased number of people willing to know beyond general knowledge is good for themselves, society, government and even entrepreneurs opening doors to global knowledge.
