The line graph illustrates the information about the 65 year old people of population in three different nation like Japan, Sweden and USA from 1940 to current year and it will also projecting for the year till 2040.
Overall, it is clear that in all the three countries given will have been increase over the period.
To begin with, from 1940 to present year, in 1940, USA was the highest proportion of 65 aged people at nearly 10%, while Sweden and Japan were at 7% and 5% respectively. Further, over the years, USA and Sweden gradual increase observed in population of elder who had age 65 and over. Former was the 10% of population, whilst latter was the almost 9%. However, in the year 2020, Sweden and USA increased noticeably except in japan.
Furthermore, it will have been projected that Japan will surpass these both countries in percentage of elder population in the year 2030, at 25%. On the other side, neither USA nor Sweden will cross the 25% in population of elder people. In the year 2040, it will be projected that Japan will be the highest in elder people of population, at approximately 78% whereas both USA and Sweden will be the below 25%.
