The diagrams illustrate how the seaside town of Darwin changed from 2009 to 2014.
Overall, the town underwent a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which were the disappearance of the industrial area and the expansion of a residential area catering for the increase in the population of the town.
In the north-west, a school and a connection center stayed the same, while the industry area was converted into a tiny swimming pool. The industrial area in the south-west of the town was replaced by a green area and a university building. The center part of the downtown witnessed significant changes, with the expansion of the accommodation area and the replacement of a part of the industrial area by some trees.
The north-east area of the town saw no changes, with the maintenance of a lake, a large swimming pool, and a fishing area. In the south-east section, while a medium-sized swimming pool remained, a harbour was constructed, replacing a small part of the sea, and a footpath running parallel with the residential complex was built to allow access to this harbour.
