The bar chart provides statistics related to the annual revenues of the five particular mobile phone brands: Samsung, Apple, Nokia, LG and ZTE in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
Briefly, the highest sales were in Samsung and Nokia, meanwhile ZTE had the lowest figures.
People mostly preferred Samsung as their first choice to buy mobile phones. Considerably, residents paid more and more as time passed. If in 2009, the total value of sold mobile phones was roughly a quarter billion dollars, these numbers then doubled in the next four years. It is also noteworthy that Apple sales had the highest increasing acceleration even though this brand had the most inferior data in 2009. Nevertheless, the revenue in 2013 was equivalent to 150 million dollars, which was almost six times more than in the past.
On the contrary, Nokia dominated the chart in 2009 and 2011 with nearly 450 and 430 million dollars respectively. However, their figures dropped by 50% in 2013. Additionally, LG’s revenue fell but not as sharply as Nokia’s (from about 120 to 80 million dollars).
