According to the data, In 1970 Births were higher than deaths, Births were estimated at 1.2 million cases while Deaths were at 1 million. In the following decade, Deaths increased to 1.3 million and Births stayed the same. After 10 years, Births had a gradual growth to 1.8 million newborns as well as death reached 1.6 million during the same period.
Moreover, at the beginning of the new century, the birth rate skyrocketed to 2.7 million new cases whereas deaths showed a small drop to 1.1 million. During the next two decades, births were getting higher to finally reach its peak at 3.2 million cases, and Deaths kept dropping until leveled off at their lowest number which was 800 thousand cases.
