The graph illustrates the amount of tourists to the coast, the mountains, and the lakes in a European country since 1987 to 2007.
Overall, the coast and the lakes had the highest and lowest visitors respectively in the beginning but the numbers varied until it reached the year 2007 when the coast still topped the chart and the mountains left having the least tourism.
To begin with, the coast had 40000 visitors in 1987 and when the graph was about to decline in 1992 it rose significantly upto almost 75000 by the year 2007 ending up being the highest amongst the three.
On the other hand, the lakes initially starting at 10000, began to uprise crossing over the mountains in 1992 and faced a rapid increase from 1997 surpassing the numbers of the coast reaching its peak at about 75000 visitors in the year 2002 and had a swift decline with a loss of 25000 in the year 2007.
Whereas, it began with 20000 for the mountains and steadily progressed to 30000 in 1997 and remained unchanged till 2002 when it experienced a slight growth having about 35000 overseas travellers by the year 2007.
