The given bar graph illustrates the spread of male and female students across six art related courses at a UK university in 2011. Philosophy has the highest gap between male and female learners while english language and literature has the highest enrollment of both genders among all six subjects.
The lowest attendance of male in any subject is for philosophy which is 50, whereas the number is tripled for female at 150. Linguistics classes are taken by around 170 males and around 230 females. The distribution of gender is almost similar for English language and literature which is around 230 and 250 for boys and girls respectively.
The total students in History and Archeology is comparatively less as approximately 90 guys and 120 ladies study it. Both art and design, and Communication and Media Studies disciplines see a similar number of attendees from the two groups of people as almost 155 females and 165 males attend art and Design classes and, around 205 males and 230 females are taking Communication and Media Studies.
