The bar chart shows comparisons in the amount of time which people spent on social media between 2016 and 2020.
Overall, the amount of time dedicated to most of the applications increased except for Facebook. Additionally, it is clear that there was an upward trend in the usage of social media.

As for the average times allocated for Twitter and Instagram, they showed quite different trends. The figure for Instagram stood at roughly 23 minutes in 2016, and it fell to more than 15 minutes in 2019 despite growing significantly to 43 minutes in 2017. This was followed by a growth to precisely 40 minutes again in the end. When it comes to Twitter, people dedicated more than 20 minutes to it, and it went up slowly to around 43 minutes in the next four years, exhibiting nearly equal minutes as Instagram’s figure in 2017.
