The provided pie chart illustrates the information on people using social platforms among different ranges of groups in Jamestown in the year 2018. The data is given in percentages.
It is clear that in 2018, the people from the age of 13 to 25 years old show the highest percentage among all of users of social medias (40%). Slightly fewer of those who prefer media from 26 to 35 years old (35%). According to the figures, the interest of the adult population in media technologies was a small part of the total number. For example, people over the age of 55 hardly use media (2%). The percentage of people close in age – 46-55 years old – also does not differ much in the big way (8%). But in contrast, there is a group of people aged 36 to 45 years, the percentage of which is almost half of the highest and lowest indicators (15%).
Overall, it is obvious to see that teenagers tend to spend their time on social media more than other generations.
