The given bar graph provides information about the part-time workers in four independent nations for years 1980 and 2010. The general trend shows a significant rise in part-time workers in France and the number of part-time workers only rose in numbers for each other country except Germany.
For France, the number of part-time workers in the year 1980 was approximately 25 percent which then more than tripled in the year 2010 to somewhere around 85 percent. Similarly, we can see the same steep rise for Portugal also. here, the strength of part-time employees increased by more than double from around 18 percent in 1980 to approximately 33 percent in the year 2010.
However, When we talk about, Germany, we can see a decline in the number of part-time workers between these 30 years. From being at around 30 percent in the year 1980 it plummeted to 24 percent in the year 2010.
