The pie chart provides a breakdown of worldwide passenger car production across six different regions of the world in 2015.
Overall, there were four major passenger regions contributing to passenger car production- Greater China, Europe, North America, and Japan/Korea, whereas the rest of the regions – South Asia, South America, and Middle East/Africa – made up the least portion of the chart.
In detail, of those four major passenger car producers, Greater China and Europe constituted half of the total passenger car production, sharing almost equal portions each (25%). In comparison, the percentages of the other two regions, North America and Japan/Korea, were relatively smaller than Greater China and Europe figures, but they still accounted for significant proportions with 19% and 16%, respectively.
With regard to the rest of the regions, they all three combined, South Asia, South America, and Middle East/Africa, made up the smallest proportion despite each of them having a double difference. Their figures were 8% for South Asia, 4% for South America, and a mere 2% for Middle East/ Africa.
