Considering countries that were at the highest levels, Greater China was responsible for 26% of the world car production as the main vehicle-producing country, whereas the figure for Europe accounted for 25% of the world passenger automobile manufacturing. The figures for Japan and Korea accounted for 16%, while North America exceeded this level by 3% in manufacturing passenger automobiles.
Focusing on other countries, South Asia manufactured 8% of the world’s passenger cars, but South America was responsible for half of this rate. Finally, the figure for the Middle East and Africa made up only 2% of the car fabrication.
