In my point of view, I think yes, managers can become friends with their subordinates because they work in the same place and are always helping each other. When subordinates or employees make mistakes, they often ask their managers to correct them and seek their help. So, it creates really engaging relationships. It's not strange for them to become friends. They can talk to each other on calls when they go back home, and they can ask for each other's help to relate to their work. In my country, I see that in most companies, friendships exist between employees and managers, and even the boss can be friends with employees. So, it's not unusual at all. This kind of relationship can foster a positive work environment and enhance collaboration, making it easier for everyone to achieve their goals together.
