The line graph illustrates the percentage of music sales methods between 2011 and 2018.
Overall, it is evident that the ratio of music which sold by Streams experienced an upward trend. By contrast, it is interesting to note that the percent of music which sold by Downloads and CD showed a downward over a period of 7 years.
Looking at the line graph in more detail, Streams stood at approximately 5% in the beginning of shown year. However, this figure experienced a slight rise by 25% and reached nearly 30% which was the same level with the percentage of that saled by CDs in 2016. Moreover, after this sharply increase this figure decreased from 30% to 25% in the end(2018).
It could be explained by the fact that the percentage of music which sold by CDs was approximately 55% in 2011. However this figure fell from 55% to 40% and became on the same level with the percentage of Downloads in 2013. Afterwards, this tendency kept its stability and stood at nearly 25% in 2018. When it comes to the percentage of Downloads, we can see that this tendency was 35% in beginning of shown year. However, this figure increased significantly and reached nearly 45% in 2014. Moreover, the percentge of Downloads kept its stability between 2014 and 2018 and stood at 30% in 2018.
