In 1957, the museum was simpler, consisting of only four smaller halls. The entrance hall was adjacent to the center of the museum, leading directly to the national history exhibition hall, while the local history room and the museum stood opposite each other. A pathway guided visitors through a garden filled with trees.
By 2007, the museum had undergone extensive developments, becoming more educational with the addition of an education center and commercial with a museum shop connected to the entrance. Although all the trees along the roadside had been removed, most trees to the left and rear of the museum had also been cut down. The only part of the garden that remained unchanged was in the northwest corner. However, a new tree was planted just below that garden area. The local history room was now occupied by the reception, and a museum shop was added to the left side of it. The national history exhibition was replaced by the local history room, and two features related to educational development increased the museum’s modernity. Additionally, the driveway leading up to the museum was removed, and a parking lot was constructed by the roadside.
