Following this, Japan’s rates started to grow and it is forecasted that they will continue to rise until approximately 2027, before skyrocketing to a high of 25% in nearly 2030.
Shifting focus to Sweden and United States, their figures saw a similar patterns of growth from 1940 to roughly 1990, being at the point of just under 15% and approximately 14%, respectively. In nearly 2017 the figures for Sweden varied from nearly 14 to roughly 18 in 2024, and it is anticipated that they will account for 25% in 2040. Similarly to Japan, the indices of the USA stabilized at nearly 14% until 2020. Then, its figures will gradually rise, eventually hitting approximately 24%.
