The two maps show modifications that have taken place in a particular classroom since 2010. Overall, the classroom has undergone significant changes, including the addition of shelves, a removal of teachers’ rooms, and the relocation of play areas. While the western part went through different developments, the opposite side remained untouched.
In 2010, the central area was occupied by tables and chairs located in a row from bottom to the top. On the western section, there were two play areas near which were the cupboards. While there was a teachers’ room on the left side, right side of the classroom was used to locate different sites such as whiteboard, art area, adult and child sink, below which were the large cupboards. Additionally, area for entertainment and two cupboards used to stay on the right top corner.
At the present, several alterations have occurred in the site. Shelves, situated on the left side, have increased in size and doubled, between which tables and chairs have been relocated. Moreover, there has been an elimination of teachers’ rooms. One of the three tables and chairs has been repositioned to the bottom left side of the classroom, where play area previously stood. Other furniture like windows and cupboards remained untouched. Eventually, the eastern side of the classroom has not experienced any alterations.
