The following graph displays the proportions of graduates from Brighton University in 2019, divided into each category of different employment sectors.
In general, the majority of the graduates from Brighton University applied for Service Industries, Manufacturing Industry, Education, Politics and government, Science and technology and Civil service. Only a minority of the graduates applied for transportation and warehousing, other unspecified sectors, charity and sports.
The most preferred sector is the service industries, which represents 33% of the pie chart. Following this, the manufacturing industry has 16.3% of the graduates applied for the sector. Education sector attracted 14.7% of the graduates, while a relatively small percentage of about 12.1% opted for politics and government. Moreover, only 7.3% embarked towards science and technology as a career choice. The least popular career choice goes to civil services with 5.8% on the chart as well as sports and charity where both sectors have less than 1% of the graduates applied for.
Overall, the data shows a strong inclination of graduates pursuing the careers of services and manufacturing, followed by education and politics. Only a handful amount of the graduates are willing to apply for jobs that specialises in charity and sports.
