The process illustrates the life of a salmon from eggs to adult fishes.
As illustrated in the diagram, the life cycle of salmon is cyclical process which consist of 3 steps, commencing with salmon eggs in the upper river and culminating with reaching maturing of a salmon.
In the first step, the mature salmon start laying a massive number of eggs in upper river where has downstream river and eggs are provided by reeds and pebbles for approx 5-6 months. Undergo significant development, newly hatched salmon is called fry which has size is mall, only about 3-8cm. In more information, baby salmons swim along the stream to lower reaches of river where they live nearly 4 years and reach 12-15 cm in size, their names are smolts.
At this point, smolts continue immigrate ocean, living open sea about 5 years. After 5 years, they reach maturity with the life cycle lasts 9 years 6 moths which are 10-76 cm in size. After the complete the cycle, the maturing salmon continue to swim back to the original place and the cycle repeats itself.
