It is argued that university education is accessible to all. Although I strongly agree with this statement because there are several benefits for students of free education.
I believe that the government should make university education free. One of the main reasons for this is that free education will provide equal benefits to all students. For example, many students have low family income, they are not able to afford the university expenses. As a result, students cannot properly acquire good skills and most students will become unemployed, get involved in major crimes like theft, child abuse for money, etc. Another reason is, if students do not complete their graduation, most countries will lose their economy because when many countries see that their students are not contributing to the development of a country, they should hire foreign people with good skills. Immediately, many countries will face the collapse of their economy.
Also, the government should provide financial support to the university. First, the government should pay the salaries of all public and private teachers and staff and provide all the teaching materials which will mainly affect the learning of the students. Secondly, many developing countries, especially Finland, encourage their teenagers to go to school, which is why the government pays for the teenagers. Furthermore, the government should encourage students to acquire good skills. For example, in Germany and Norway, the government helps students study for higher education, and those countries ensure that higher education is free.
In conclusion, although university education was made free for students, I believe that the government should provide all the funds for the university.
