The bar chart provides the information on the percentage proportion of British people that donate money to charity by age range in two different years (1990,2010).
In general, data suggests that age range 36-50 and below shows decrease on donation from 1990 to 2010 and the highest percentage in the graph belongs to 36-50 old people in 2010. A significant change can be observed in 51-65 and above 65 age which presentate increasing in percentage of people who giving money to charity.
In details, looking at the youngest age (18-25), the rate was around 17% in 1990, then it declined to 7% in the end of the given period. The same trend can be seen on 26-35 and 36-50 age group which according to the line in 1990 the persentage of money given charity by British people are around 30% and above 40% decrease in 2010 to well above 25% and 35%.
In contrast, the data show that older generation 51-65 donate more than previous year (1990) by 4 percent increase from 35% to 39%. Likewise 51-65 old people older than 65 aged group follows this flow by increasing from 32% to 35%.
