Dear Mr. Smith,

I hope this letter finds you well. This is Sergey Pimenov from the insurance department of our company. As a few weeks ago it was established that we can work remotely from home, I would like to get such a permission from you.

The key reason why I am asking for this is the fact that I live quite away from the main office, and, unfortunately, I must waste a huge amount of time in a public transport. Given the road traffic jams, it could be quite tough challenge to be at work on time every day. Working remotely from my home, I will definitely save the essential energy that will be needed during my work day, not to mention the fact that my improved productivity will contribute to the company’s success.

Given the mentioned facts, I kindly request that you accept the possibility for me to work remotely. I trust you understanding, and I genuinely hope for the positive decision from your side.
