Maybe it is because children nowadays are very curious about learning mysteries and facts related to astronomy, physics, and psychology. Along with that, children are engaged with technology. The internet also helps them find new information about what they are interested in. Conversely, parents, when they were young in their school years, didn't have such opportunities to search for what they were interested in. That's why maybe nowadays children are very curious and have access to technologies that help them find what they are interested in. That's why.
