It's quite obvious, really. Children today have more opportunities to learn about science. The education system has evolved to incorporate new scientific discoveries. Kids grow up with engaging science-themed TV shows and magazines. If their parents are interested in science and share their knowledge, or if their teachers go beyond the regular curriculum, children quickly absorb this information. I think YouTube and other social media platforms provide a wealth of scientific content, making it more accessible than ever before.
