I would like to talk about a time when I felt very nervous which was during my final year thesis presentation at my university. It happened during my final semester when I had to present my whole year thesis project in front of my faculty including the dean and other students. What made me nervous was the fact that I had to present my whole year’s work in front of experienced teachers and large audience. I worried about mistakes for getting important points and not being able to answer the questions properly. that before to prepare myself I practiced my presentation many times in advance. I also reviewed my research paper carefully and tried to predict the possible questions from the panel and I also practiced those questions. On the presentation day I took a deep breath and before starting my presentation and tried to stay calm and focused. At first I was nervous but as I continued speaking I slowly gained confidence. I managed to explain the project clearly and answer most of the questions successfully. and I felt a huge sense of relief and satisfaction because my presentation went better than I expected. So overall it was a valuable experience for me. It helped me to improve my confidence in public speaking.
