I would like to talk about a challenging project that I worked on recently. Since I joined a new job, the goal was to open a new grocery store. Our team project was to build as many vendor relationships as we could because we would be ordering from them soon. So, since this was the plan, we all started contributing our part towards it, and everybody was contacting vendors, as I was doing. What made it difficult was that many vendors were not responding to us through emails and calls. It was challenging because we were on a deadline, and we were already past the deadline, in fact, and the vendors still hadn't contacted us. Out of 800 vendors, we could only manage to reach 500, and my role was to follow up with the 300 remaining vendors to find out why they were not responding to us. It could be because they felt we were not legitimate, or perhaps they did not want to build a relationship with us. My job was to gather all this information and then update upper management.
