Last year, I went to Toshkent with some English teachers for the Silk Road Conference as a presenter. While we were there, we found out that one of the most famous opera singers, Jens Pik Piazov, was going to give a concert, and we leapt with happiness. The concert was held in one of their biggest concert halls, which is situated in the center of Toshkent. After the conference, we hurried to the concert, and there were lots of fans gathered to listen to his songs. The hall was packed with fans. The energy was electric, and I was shocked that so many people came to the concert. I leapt with happiness, and the excitement of the fans was contagious. We even began dancing to some of his songs. He also has a humorous manner that made his audience sing in unison.
