I took a Japanese class online since last month. I'm learning Japanese now. Um, we have 2 hours to do per week, but we have 2 hours. So next week, you spend, like, 4 hours in class, but you need probably another 4 hours to prepare and review your study. Japanese is so difficult, especially when you're not familiar with most of the Japanese language. And especially the sentence structure is not similar to English. There are more than ten tenses, so it's really difficult to understand the variations of the verbs. Also, the sentence structure is different from English. Especially when you have English in your mind, doing translations is the biggest mistake in learning Japanese. Pronunciation is also very difficult. But I know that for every language, pronunciation is a big challenge if you're not a native speaker. Japanese is especially tricky because they have some unique sounds that are hard to produce, like the rolling 'r' sound. I started the course last month, so I've already learned a lot, and I could communicate with people, but not really in-depth conversations. I decided to learn this language to advance in my career. I have a lot of Japanese friends who share stories about their careers, and they often have small talks in Japanese. I really want to understand what they are talking about, so that motivates me to learn. Yep, I want to learn this language, and I want to be fluent.
