At first, I pedaled awkwardly with my brother steadying the bike. After a few brief laps, he finally let go just for a second, but I didn't realize it. I pedaled faster, feeling the wind in my hair, and before I knew it, I was gliding all by myself. Dad's cheers and my brother's high fives brought me to happy tears.
