I have never tried any serious method of saving money, but I did try giving it to my mom because she obviously knows how to manage it properly. She also has a degree in finance, so I believe it is in her expertise to know how to save and allocate expenses effectively. I tried this method when I turned 14. At that age, I was neither a child nor an adult, so my relatives decided to give me money as a present. It was a huge amount, but for me at that time, it felt significant. My mom told me that I would probably end up spending it on unnecessary things and suggested that it is better to give the money to her. Later, I used it for a major purchase related to my hobby. Since then, I have continued using this method, and it has been really helpful because it prevents me from spending it on things I don't actually need.
