A couple of months ago, I went to Singapore with my family for a holiday. It was quite a culture shock, as everything there is incredibly expensive. I found myself paying twice as much as I would in Vietnam for the same things. For example, I went to the Apple Store, which is always popular because of its modern design and cutting-edge technology. However, the prices were even higher than I expected. I was surprised because I thought things might be cheaper in Singapore since it's close to where iPhones and iPads are manufactured. But that wasn't the case. Even a basic phone case cost more than 10 million Vietnamese Dong. It really made me realize just how expensive things can be in Singapore.

Well, a couple of months ago, I had a trip to Singapore with my family on holiday. And to be honest, I had experienced cultural shock for a while since things there are really expensive, and I had to pay twice as much as I need when I was in Vietnam. And so, you know, everything there caused an arm and a leg, especially when I go to the Apple store. And, you know, Apple Store today is really popular among people since they are really modern with cutting edge function and futuristic design. Therefore, they are also expensive and sometimes unaffordable to some people. So when I get there, I realize that they’re even much more expensive than things outside. A piece of things will cost more than 10 million. Don I thought in Singapore it would be a bit cheaper since they can distribute iPhones and iPads from their origin factory. But the fact is, uh, that it was not what I expected.
