According to my perspective, rules are very important in shaping individuals' preferences as well as discipline. Here today, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about a rule that is important at my workplace. It is the rule of punctuality. According to this rule, everyone should be at the office at the fixed time so that the work for the whole day can commence without any distraction and without any interruption. According to the company's rule, the working hours start from 9 AM and end at 5 PM. Anyone arriving late for the fixed working schedule is punished by the company's supervisor. For the very first time, a verbal warning is given to the person who is late. However, if that person continues to arrive late, it may result in formal warnings that could end with disciplinary action. I think this is a very important rule that can ensure a smoother workflow throughout the company. If only one person is late for a day, it may affect others' work enormously because teamwork is important in a company. So, I think this is a very important rule. It not only disciplines the whole work of the company but also helps us reflect on our mistakes and how our smaller gestures can affect the work of others.
