I have a skill that I think is really hard for me to learn, but it's very practical for me because I am going to be a future teacher, and I think I need to equip myself with it before I graduate from university. The skill is 3D printing. I need to design 3D models and print them out. The most difficult part is that I need to consider the linkage and whether it can actually be printed. Besides that, I think it is more challenging for me as a person with a steel artist's background to create a very creative or beautiful model. During the learning process, I need to not just learn the use of the apps, but also how to operate the 3D printing machine. I also need to learn the artistic aspects involved. The benefits are obvious; I can use this skill in my future teaching, and it will also provide me with another skill apart from my teaching responsibilities. I think not only teachers can benefit from it, but my students can also take advantage of it in their learning. As I teach them, I will also be learning something new, and I think it is very practical and interesting for me. Overall, mastering 3D printing will enhance my teaching and provide valuable skills for my students.
