I’d like to start off by saying what the situation was and I’d probably select the time when my student didn’t show up for our lesson and she had to apologize to me because of it. So a couple of weeks ago I was supposed to have several lessons in a row and when the time came for the lesson that I’m talking about with that student. I was waiting for her but she didn’t show up. She was usually pretty punctual so I was a bit worried when the clock hit 5 p.m. the time of our lesson and she was no way to be seen. She wasn’t replying to my messages. She wasn’t joining the Zoom conference and so I started to get a bit worried because as as I said, she was always punctual, she always responded to my replies on time, to my messages on time. So I thought that something must have happened to her and I was pretty worried. But I had to carry on with my day because I had other lessons to conduct. So when I finished working, I finally received a message from her saying that she had some chest operation, chest surgery, and that’s why she missed out classes. She said sorry for not warning me in advance about that, and she was very sorry, she was apologetic, she apologized profusely, and said that she wouldn’t do something like that again. I was a bit dissatisfied with her apology because she could let me know that something was wrong with her. But in the end I thought, yeah, why not? And we continued our collaboration, our work together.
