I like to talk about a time when I bought something online but had to return it. This happened about four years ago when I was just getting into film photography. I was eager to try out a vintage film camera, so I searched online and found a second-hand Yashica camera being sold on Instagram. The seller had great reviews and a large following. Plus, the price was much lower than what I would have paid in a store, so I decided to buy it. When it arrived, I was thrilled and couldn't wait to try it out. However, after inserting the batteries and loading the film, I realized that the camera wasn't working at all. I checked the settings, changed the batteries, and tried everything I could, but the shutter button was completely stuck. At that moment, I felt frustrated and disappointed because I had been looking forward to using it. I immediately contacted the seller. She offered to send me a replacement along with three film rolls, but I didn't want to take the risk of receiving another faulty product. Instead, I decided to return the camera for a full refund. Fortunately, the seller was understanding and processed the refund quickly. Since then, I've been much more cautious when shopping online, especially for expensive items. Now, I always read multiple reviews and, if possible, buy from trusted stores rather than independent sellers.
