I’d like to talk about a time where I was able to persuade my husband to change his mind about buying a land that was available close to us. This was sometime early this year where there was a vacant city site for a land. The land was said to be, this was a distressed sale where the owner of the land needed to relocate out of the country and needed to sell it as soon as possible. And it was just located beside our fence, a very good land which would be a good place to start up a business or even start up a farmland. He did not want to buy it because he felt it was quite impromptu and he didn’t have enough money to do this. He would have to take a loan which required a lot of processes and a lot of steps to get. I however told him about the long-term importance of buying the land and how we would get back our money once we are able to put up a business on the land and it would help benefit us in the future. After a lot of explanation and a lot of persuasion, he finally accepted to get the property and right now he is grateful to me for pushing him to get that property because it has been able to help us set up a farm land where we are planting some food crops and also part of it is being used for poultry. We aim to sell our first set of birds this December so it turned out to be a good investment first and I felt quite hot-warming, I felt quite confident and excited I was able to convince my husband to go out of his way to do something that big.
